The total is the total.

In MDC mode Kountr reads each bill's value as it feeds through, so a stack of $1s, $5s, $20s and $100s comes back as one dollar figure on the 3.5" screen. Press DETAIL and it shows how many of each bill made it up, so you can check it bill by bill without counting again.

Every bill gets checked.

Each note passes ultraviolet, magnetic ink and infrared checks, plus size, half-note, chained-note and double-note detection. A bill that fails is flagged so you pull it before it goes in the deposit, in any of the five currencies it counts.

Do I have to sort the bills first?

No. In MDC (mixed denomination) mode you drop an unsorted stack of $1s, $5s, $10s, $20s, $50s and $100s into the hopper. The screen shows how many bills went through and the exact total, and the DETAIL button shows how many of each bill made it up.

Which currencies does it count?

US dollars, euros, British pounds, Canadian dollars and Mexican pesos. Switch between them with the CUR button.

How does it catch fake bills?
